REGrid is a Canadian clean-energy program that connects solar producers with
organizations that want to support renewable electricity through verified
clean-energy claims.
Eligible solar producers receive payments based on the amount of clean energy
their system generates. REGrid measures your output and converts it into
claims that businesses can purchase, and you receive a share of that value.
In most cases, no. If your system already has monitoring (for example through
your inverter portal), REGrid can often use that data. During onboarding we’ll
confirm what you have and whether anything else is needed.
No. REGrid does not change your relationship with your utility or your
net-metering program. You continue to receive credits and bills from your
utility exactly as you do now.
Yes. REGrid is designed for both residential and commercial solar systems,
subject to eligibility and minimum size thresholds in each region.
REGrid is currently in a pre-launch phase with select partners and producers.
Public launch dates will be announced as regional programs come online.
